In her recent statements, Angie Rodríguez, formerly the right hand of outgoing president Gustavo Petro, assured that she has been the victim of a series of death threats and extortions during her tenure as director of the Adaptation Fund, including the transfer of more than one trillion pesos to the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD).
At the same time that Rodríguez filed a complaint against Petro before the Chamber’s Commission of Accusations, the DNI decided to respond to the allegations.
Angie’s allegations
“From the DNI we strongly reject any act of intimidation, extortion or criminal act that threatens the integrity of public servants and/or citizens or intends to interfere with the transparency of the management of State resources. We express our absolute willingness and full cooperation with the competent authorities and Mrs. Angie Rodríguez to facilitate the clarification of these serious allegations,” states a communication they sent to EL TIEMPO.
At that same time, the Investigative Unit of EL TIEMPO revealed that the mother of Gabriela Muñoz, the young woman whom Angie Rodríguez accused of pulling the strings of power in Aerocivil, was until 15 days ago the counterintelligence coordinator of the DNI.
She is Liliana Olaya, a psychologist by profession who came to the DNI through Jorge Lemus, former head of the entity and trusted man of the president.
‘She is no longer coming’
Olaya herself told EL TIEMPO that she had recommended her two children (Gabriela and Santiago) and four nephews to Aerocivil when Henry Pinto was director. He stated that Olaya presented herself as a friend of the President and an official of the DNI.

Unofficially, DNI sources stated that it is not true that Olaya still attends the entity. When asked about her missions, they said she was dedicated to gathering information and analyzing it. When asked about the matter, Olaya said she did not talk about her work and did not answer again.
