In the last few minutes, it was announced that Timothy James ‘Tim’ Curry, British actor, comedian, singer, and voice actor, died at the age of 80. The news was confirmed by specialized entertainment media such as TMZ and Variety.
According to reports, the renowned interpreter of characters such as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Pennywise the clown in the miniseries It (1990), and the concierge in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) passed away on the night of Tuesday, August 25.
TMZ reported that the incident occurred inside his home located in Los Angeles, United States. Sources from the North American Police detailed to the cited media that uniformed officers found him lifeless inside his residence.
In this regard, they specified that authorities arrived at the scene around 11:23 PM (local time) on August 25. For now, it was indicated that no criminal acts or violence are suspected in the case.
The specialized newspaper Variety reported that Marcia Hurwitz, the actor’s representative, confirmed the death and added that the man had died “peacefully” inside his home in Toluca Lake.
