In the 2026 edition of the Opinion Panel, prepared by the firm Cifras & Conceptos, EL TIEMPO consolidates its position as the top information preference among the country’s opinion leaders and decision-makers in various areas of the public and private sectors, in both its digital and print versions.
In the print media segment, the newspaper EL TIEMPO leads the consultation list with 30 percent of mentions from respondents, growing one point compared to 2025. The ranking in this category is completed by El Espectador (24%), Semana (13%), La República (6%), and the newspaper Portafolio, also from this publishing house, with 4% of mentions.
In the case of television, Caracol Noticias leads the measurement with 36%, followed by Noticias RCN with 18%; Noticias 1 with 8%, RTVC with 7%, RedMas Noticias with 6%, CNN with 5%, and Citytv with 2%.
Meanwhile, in radio, Caracol holds the first place of preference with 57%, followed by BLU Radio with 27%, La FM with 18%, and La Luciérnaga de Caracol Radio with 4%, among others.

For its part, in the digital environment, EL TIEMPO’s website maintains its absolute leadership in the first position among the most consulted informative internet pages by Colombian leaders, reaching 17 percent of preference. The ranking of websites registered by the measurement continues, in descending order, with La Silla Vacía and El Espectador, each with 13%, Cambio with 10%, Semana with 9%, and El País de España with 7%, among others.

Among the EL TIEMPO bylines appearing on the list, the best positioned is María Isabel Rueda in fourth place. The leader in this category is Daniel Coronell. In the case of this newspaper’s columnists, Mauricio Vargas, Thierry Ways, Moisés Wasserman, Ricardo Silva, Juan Lozano, and Juan Esteban Constaín also appear.

The Cifras & Conceptos 2026 study was conducted through 1424 surveys distributed across six consultation networks: academics, media, social organizations, politicians, private sector, and digital leaders, between June and August 2026 in Bogotá, a measurement that has become one of the most relevant and reputable regarding content and media consumption in Colombia.
