This is what is known about the lawyer the FBI is looking for for leaking data to the mafia in the case that 'Fico' Gutiérrez talked about: she can be extradited
In an internal document from the Attorney General’s Office, dated last August 10, the full name of a Colombian lawyer is provided, who is accused of having leaked reserved information about ongoing cases and measures to pursue their drug fortunes to a group of powerful drug traffickers.
The first clue about this leak appeared just over a year ago when the bosses learned they were being investigated, after one of them notified that they were being asked for 700 million pesos so that, supposedly, the case would be dismissed in the Attorney General’s Office.

Messenger or mastermind?

Medellín
Just as revealed by EL TIEMPO’s Investigative Unit this weekend, the group of bosses turned out to be from the ‘Los de El Dorado’ gang, which Medellín’s mayor Federico Gutiérrez referred to last week.
It is already proven that they paid members of the ‘Gulf clan’ to provide security to their cocaine labs in Puerto Boyacá, which was transported in cattle trucks to the coast to be sent to the United States and Central America.
Also, it has been proven that after the lawyer’s alert, they transferred several assets to avoid seizure.
But, one of the bosses who was captured – and who is now seeking judicial benefits – ended up giving information about the snitch and adding that a former police officer also passed them information: “It is being investigated whether the legal professional is the mastermind behind the leaks or a messenger.”

Contact in the Attorney General’s bunker

In the same confidential document, to which EL TIEMPO had exclusive access, it states: “Edilson (one of the bosses) states that later, Olfer (another of the accused mafiosos) found out and that there was indeed an investigation against them, that he met with lawyer A. G. in 2025, that he does not remember if it was before or after Easter week, at the Viva Envigado commercial center, exactly in the food court.”
According to the informant, at that moment the lawyer told them there was no more time to get them out of the process because it was very advanced, that what they had to do was hide.
“She told them she had her contacts in the Attorney General’s bunker, then later Olfer told her he was going to get the information through another channel, I think it was through a retired official from the Police’s Sijín or Dijín. After Olfer made this contact, he told Edilson that they were asking for 12 million pesos to obtain a copy of the individual file.
“Doctor A. said that money or an incentive had to be given to an investigator to delay the situation, Yulian had several audios of the lawyer, among them one showing the name Olfer in a document along with about 10 people, I managed to read Ober, Yulian, Mono Chucho, the Bald One, Calero and others I don’t remember, that document had the Attorney General’s logo,” confessed one of the bosses.

Obstruction of justice

Sources familiar with the case stated that, repeatedly, the prosecuted bosses referred to the lawyer within the process they were carrying out in Colombia jointly with FBI agents.

“The participation of the U.S. agency opens the door for the lawyer to be extradited to the United States for the crime of obstruction of justice. In Colombia, there are already precedents of legal professionals who have been extradited for this conduct,” said a person close to the case.
In fact, other cases handled by the legal professional are now being reviewed and it is being investigated who her supposed contact in the Attorney General’s bunker was.
