Even with declines in its sales and profits in recent years, which in 2025 were 11.7 and 39.5 percent respectively, Ecopetrol continues to top the list of the country’s largest companies both by revenue and by profits.
This is shown in the report of the 10,000 largest companies in the country based on 2025 figures, released by the Superintendence of Companies.
In addition to the sales and profit lists, the state oil company is also first in size by assets and by largest equity.
According to the Supersociedades report, together the 10,000 largest companies in the country by sales had a revenue increase of 5.5 percent during 2025 compared to 2024, while profits increased by 9.95 percent in the same period.
